Hunter Willimon, founder and on-site lead
Divine was founded to provide a level of install quality that simply wasn't available in the local market. Hunter spent years watching cheap installs fail within two seasons because of poor base preparation and cutting corners on materials. He decided to build a company where the owner is the primary lead on every single project, ensuring that nothing is overlooked.
Commercial standards matter because residential codes are often the bare minimum. By bringing heavy highway and civil engineering practices to residential backyards, we eliminate the shifting and settling issues that plague most Omaha landscapes. When you hire Divine, you are hiring a team that builds to an uncompromising standard.
We do not use subcontractors for our core builds. Every stone is leveled, every base is compacted to commercial specifications, and every drainage line is tested before we backfill. This process takes longer and costs more in labor, but it results in a finished product that remains perfectly level for decades rather than years.
Military background shapes how we build
Our background in the military dictates our approach to every site walk and every install. We operate on a standard of clear communication and no surprises. When we give you a quote, it is based on the actual civil requirements of your soil and slope, not a guess that changes halfway through the build.
This discipline extends to our job sites. We keep a clean footprint, respect your property boundaries, and maintain a strict schedule. We aren't just building a wall or a patio; we are executing a plan with the precision and accountability that only comes from a veteran led crew.
Built for the conditions we actually have
Omaha presents a unique challenge for landscape durability. Between the heavy clay soil and the dramatic freeze-thaw cycles, a standard residential base isn't enough. We build deeper and wider bases than industry standards because we know the pressure that Nebraska winters put on hardscapes.
We utilize geogrid reinforcement on retaining walls and open graded base systems for patios to ensure maximum drainage. By managing water flow away from the structure, we prevent the heaving and shifting that ruins most local installs within five years. Our builds are engineered for the long term.
Durability is the core of our business. We would rather lose a bid on price than cut corners on the base prep that keeps your investment stable. When Divine builds it, it stays built. We stand behind our prep because we know it's the only way to beat the Omaha climate.
Built for the conditions we actually have
Omaha presents one of the most challenging environments in the country for hardscape longevity. Our heavy clay soils expand and contract violently with moisture changes, and our extreme freeze-thaw cycles can heave a poorly built patio inches out of level in a single winter. Most builders follow southern standards that simply do not apply here.
We build specifically for Nebraska soil. This means digging deeper, using larger aggregate for drainage layers, and implementing geogrid reinforcement in every retaining wall over two feet tall. We treat every residential backyard like a civil engineering project because the physics of soil pressure and water management are the same regardless of the property line.
Long-term durability is the only metric that matters. If a patio looks great the day it is finished but traps water against your foundation or settles after the first heavy rain, it is a failure. Divine builds are over-engineered by design to ensure they remain as structural assets to your home for the next twenty years.
Where we work
We serve the entire Omaha metro area, including Bennington, Elkhorn, Gretna, and Papillion. Our team is frequently on-site in established neighborhoods and new developments alike, bringing specialized equipment that allows us to work efficiently in tight residential spaces without damaging existing structures.
For selective larger projects, we travel to acreage properties and commercial sites across Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa. We prefer to work on projects where the owner values a direct relationship with the build lead and requires a high level of technical site preparation and drainage expertise.
What Divine does
Our expertise covers complete hardscape construction including paver patios, natural stone retaining walls, and outdoor kitchens. We handle landscape design and plant installation, commercial grounds maintenance, seasonal snow removal, and specialty grading or drainage correction. Every service is performed with fixed pricing and veteran-led quality control.

We maintain a perfect five star rating because we don't consider a job finished until the customer is satisfied with the results. Our reviews reflect our commitment to communication, clean job sites, and projects that look as good three years later as they did on day one. We take pride in the trust our Omaha neighbors place in us.
